Bio
Charles Gershon was born and reared in Atlanta, Georgia before the days of interstates and air-conditioning. He received a B.A. in history from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.D., Magna Cum Laude, from Emory University School of Medicine. He spent five years as a resident in urological surgery at the University of Michigan, and one year as a senior registrar in urology at Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland. Dr. Gershon practiced urology in Atlanta for many years prior to beginning a career in writing. He is the author of fifteen published scientific papers, has presented at numerous medical conferences, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Urology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
